It took a long time before the first really good fighting games came out and it’s still a genre that’s fairly limited. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t some really good titles for you fighting game aficionados out there. Here are the best fighting games for Android.

Fighting Tiger – Liberal is an older title but it gets the job done. It’s a classic-style 3D fighter game where you pound on opponents as they come after you. King of Fighters best fighting games for AndroidThe King of Fighters ’98

[Price: $2.99]
If you want something a little more old school then The King of Fighters ’98 is it. It features old school graphics and a 2D fighting style. It even employs a “credits” system like an old arcade game which, while useless, gives it a charming, old school feel. There are 38 playable characters, 4-button on-screen controls, and you can challenge your friends using Bluetooth multiplayer. It’s just as fun as it was nearly two decades ago and $2.99 really isn’t that much when you consider that fans of the series dropped more money on that in quarters in one day back when arcades were a thing.
